Locations

McDowell Mountains

Outside of the sprawling city of Phoenix lies the McDowell Mountain Preserve. The preserve is host to the largest concentration of climbs in Phoenix and there is still more to explore. From the Gardner's Wall, a 250 foot tall granite slab, to countless boulders; all who come here will find adventure.

Camelback Mountain

Nestled amidst the busy Phoenix Metropolis sits Camelback Mountain; a large formation of sandstone and conglomerate. Climbing began here in the 1940s and many of these routes are still traveled today. Don't let the location fool you. From 40 ft. top rope climbs to 350 ft. epic multi-pitch routes, the Camel is home to wild thrills. Very popular with hikers on the weekends. Contact us to schedule a climb here.

Queen Creek Canyon

An hour outside the city, this volcanic tuff canyon hosts the best sport climbing in the Phoenix area. It's vertical to overhanging pocket-pulling and crimping is finger-lickin' good. Climb throughout the year, chasing shade or sun, finding ponds and waterfalls amidst unique canyon towers. The approaches vary from 10 minutes downhill to 30 minutes with some scrambling depending on the climbing area your guide chooses. Good for intermediate to advanced climbers.
